Amy Cross is a Shareholder in the Firm’s Portland office and a member of the Corporate practice group. She is a dynamic and collaborative attorney who provides in-depth experience in complex estate planning, including analyzing current and proposed tax laws affecting estate plans and gifting strategies focusing on high-net-worth individuals and families. Her practice emphasizes succession planning for clients with closely held businesses and advising clients on estate planning issues affecting multi-generational transfers. She also has experience with charitable planning, nonprofit corporations, probates, trust administrations, special needs planning and protective proceedings, as well as beneficiary representation.

Ms. Cross connects with clients to develop a long-standing relationship built on trust, open communication, and mutual respect. Understanding that each client has a unique family history, she works to craft estate plans that match client goals and plan for the future to safeguard family wealth and relationships.
