Abigail is an Associate in the Shoosmiths' national Construction team, based in the Manchester office, and specialises in non-contentious construction law and practice. 

 

Abigail has experience advising on projects across a range of sectors including commercial, residential, retail, office and education. She is experienced in all of the standard forms of JCT, as well as experienced in NEC and MF/1 contracts. Abigail acts for developers, contractors, subcontractors and funders, negotiating and drafting building contracts, consultant appointments and collateral warranties.

 

Abigail is also a Mental Health & Wellbeing Champion and actively promotes positive mental health & wellbeing. 

 

Abigail qualified as a solicitor in March 2024 after completing her Solicitor Apprenticeship and she joined Shoosmiths in April 2024.
