Brandon has handled cases in virtually every area of complex high-stakes litigation, consistently achieving outstanding results for clients.  Brandon has extensive trial experience having tried many cases to verdicts before juries, judges and arbitrators.

Brandon has significant experience litigating contract claims, intellectual property disputes (expertise in trade secrets), real estate disputes, and handling matters designated as complex (including, class actions and coordinated actions).

Brandon represents start-ups to Fortune 100 companies to government agencies across a wide range of industries, including, grocery, national clothing retailers, real estate, financial institutions, technology, and transportation companies. Brandon is also sought out frequently to represent state and federal receivers in cases filed by the government or financial institutions.

Notwithstanding his successes in trial, Brandon’s goal is always to obtain the most favorable outcome for his clients as quickly and efficiently as possible. Brandon is a skilled negotiator and has reached incredible outcomes for his clients when trial is not the best option.  Brandon implements strategies that position clients to achieve success.

Brandon has been recognized many times by Super Lawyers and by Best Lawyer’s from 2021 to 2025 for his achievements in Commercial Litigation, Intellectual Property Law, and Real Estate Litigation.

<p><strong>Recent Deals and Cases:</strong></p><ul><li>Obtained $42 million dollar verdict after six week trial in shareholder derivative and partnership dispute action.</li><li>Obtained 7 figure unanimous jury verdict in trespass action after two week trial.</li><li>Obtained summary judgment dismissal of all claims for national retailer in breach of contract dispute.</li><li>Obtained defense judgment for national retailer after arbitration of breach of lease claim.</li><li>Obtained a jury verdict and Court of Appeal judgment rejecting high 8 figure claim by “No Wall on the Waterfront” developer after San Francisco voters rejected the developer’s luxury high-rise condominium project.</li><li>Representing national department store chain, prevailed at trial against shopping center owner seeking to invalidate co-tenancy rent provision.</li><li>Successfully defended corporate director accused of stealing trade secrets when moving to competing transportation business.</li><li>Obtained 7 figure settlement against insurer denying coverage for alleged director and officer malfeasance.</li><li>Obtained dismissal of trade secret claims for DNA sequencing company after plaintiff failed to identify trade secrets with reasonable particularity. Affirmed on appeal by the Ninth Circuit.</li><li>Negotiated favorable settlement of class action lawsuit for national bank alleged to be involved in a 9 figure Ponzi scheme.</li><li>Negotiated settlement of investor fraud case by having defendants pay back investor money misappropriated and used for improper purposes.</li><li>Obtained appointment of several court-appointed receivers for national bank for commercial property; Represented court-appointed equity receiver in fraud case filed by US Government, established claims process and liquidated domestic and international assets.</li></ul>
