Profile

Clients benefit from my understanding of the safety requirements associated with their operations and I have supported many clients to deal with the aftermath of serious incidents and fatalities, working closely with clients to support their engagement with regulators and developing a strategic response to prosecutions and related enforcement activity.

I have particular expertise in advising clients about the management and allocation of contractual risk and in conducting workplace and Board and Executive Leadership Team training on health and safety obligations. I particularly enjoy working with clients to develop proactive and practical health and safety compliance strategies, directed at prevention of incidents and enhancing worker safety and wellbeing. I have extensive experience in supporting clients to address psychosocial hazards and employee mental health, safety and wellbeing issues.

I also have a significant understanding of employment and professional conduct regulatory frameworks, working with regulators to successfully discharge their statutory duties and, in doing so, protect the public.

I have a particular interest in high risk industry sectors, including health, education, construction, manufacturing and transport and enjoy working closely with clients in these industries to identify bespoke solutions to health and safety issues.
