Drew is a member of the Tax & ERISA team, where he counsels a broad range of clients on transactional tax matters.
Drew advises clients on a variety of domestic and cross-border transactional tax matters, including public and private mergers and acquisitions, capital market offerings and joint ventures.
Drew has extensive experience with partnership taxation, S corporation taxation, REIT taxation, international taxation, tax reporting and withholding compliance, qualified opportunity zones, and qualified small business stock.
He also advises clients on matters related to energy and renewable energy tax credits, including transactions involving section 45 production tax credits, section 48 investment tax credits and other renewable energy incentives.
He has also written extensively on recent developments in tax law, including articles published in the National Law Review, Accounting Today and Bloomberg Tax.
Drew’s pro bono work includes educating military volunteers on federal income tax return preparation.
