Joseph has assisted a number of clients with their entry and expansion in the Australian market and founders in developing and driving the implementation of their business plans and strategies including to the ultimate sell down and exit.

Joseph's primary focus is to work closely with clients over time to build trusted and longstanding relationships in order to develop a clear and strong understanding of clients' businesses from an operational and strategic perspective.

Joseph's client list boasts a number of leading global and Australian investors, and he has represented clients with interests in a wide range of industries, including hospitality focussed real estate, professional services, financial services, manufacturing, food & beverages and technology.

  • Acted for the Salter Brothers and GIC joint venture in the establishment of its luxury retreat portfolio and all of the portfolio's acquisitions including Spicers Retreats, Escarpment, Kingsford Barossa and Milton Park.
  • Acted for Bain & Company (leading global consultancy) in its acquisition of Australian AI consulting business, Max Kelsen and in its acquisition of ArcBlue, a leader in procurement consulting across the Asia-Pacific region.
  • Acted for CVS Group (London Stock Exchange listed company) one of the largest global providers of veterinary services on its successful entry into the Australian market with the acquisition of multiple veterinary practices across Australia; establishing its presence in the Australian market and supporting its international growth strategy outside of the UK.
  • Acting for New York-based Kudu Investment Management, an independent provider of permanent capital solutions to asset and wealth managers, in providing funding and additional capital for general partners and fund managers in Australia including Channel Capital, a leading Australian multi-affiliate investment management company servicing more than A$16 billion in assets.
  • Advising family office and leading Asian business conglomerate, Chestnut Avenue Pte Ltd., on its acquisition of market-leading Australian smallgoods manufacturer, supporting its strategy to become a staple food powerhouse within the Asia Pacific region.
  • Acted for US PE fund, ShoreView Industries and founder shareholders in the sale of Rollease Acmeda to JM Family Enterprises Inc, a privately held company with over $18 billion in revenue and more than 5,000 associates. Rollease Acmeda, established in 1980 and headquartered in Stamford, Connecticut, is a global market leader in window covering systems.
  • Acted for the Salter Brothers and GIC joint venture in the acquisition of 5-star hotel, Sofitel Adelaide.
  • Acted for the Salter Brothers, GIC and Partners Group joint venture in its acquisition of the Travelodge hotel portfolio from Mirvac and NRMA, being the largest hotel real estate transaction in Australian history.
  • Salter Brothers across a diverse range of investment management fund activities including the flagship Salter Brothers Hotel Group and its hotel portfolio acquisitions.
  • Shoreview Industries and portfolio company (Rollease Acmeda) on a range of acquisitions including Waypoint, Texstyle and Acmeda (when acting for the founders).
  • Acted for the founders in their sale of Andale Beverage Systems, Australia's largest manufacturer, distributor and service provider of dispensing equipment to Micro Matic, the global market leader in the supply of beverage dispensing equipment.
  • Acted for the founders in their sale of FanHub Media, a leading provider of F2P games and fan engagement solutions to Genius Sports (NYSE: GENI)
