Kelly’s practice focuses on antitrust litigation, government investigations, and consumer protection. Kelly works to solve problems and address clients’ needs efficiently and creatively.

Kelly represents clients across a wide range of industry sectors, including healthcare, education, information technology, food, and consumer products. She specializes in government investigations and antitrust law, helping clients navigate negotiations with government enforcers and monitoring compliance. Kelly also has extensive experience in discovery, motions practice, and multidistrict litigation. A member of the firm’s Issues and Appeals team and a recent Eighth Circuit clerk, Kelly has authored or co-authored several Supreme Court amicus briefs. Kelly also maintains an active pro bono practice that includes helping clients with landlord/tenant, expungement/sealing, and probate matters.

Relevant Experience

  • Defended clients in Department of Justice investigations involving criminal antitrust and False Claims Act allegations.
  • Lead drafting of opposition to motion to dismiss, preliminary injunction, and discovery briefs on behalf of plaintiffs in civil antitrust lawsuit.
  • Oversaw collection and production of materials for clients under federal and local government subpoenas.
  • Reviews and evaluates antitrust compliance programs of major banks as part of ongoing monitorship.
  • Analyzed clients’ potential antitrust claims and draft recommendations and pleadings.
  • Primary drafter of amicus brief filed on behalf of Protect Our Defenders in Doe v. United States, Supreme Court cert petition pending, advocating on behalf of military sexual assault victim.
  • Represented client in civil enforcement consumer protection action; draft communications to district attorney and settlement agreement.
