Significant Accomplishments

Marc-André has been involved in a number of major transactions over the course of his career, including due diligence mandates with environmental, commercial and real estate components. He also advises clients on their business needs and internal strategies.

Marc-André has served as an in-house legal advisor to institutional clients, as well as to a real estate venture capital fund. He also worked as a legal advisor to a federal Crown corporation and a national commercial brokerage firm, supporting their needs in the areas of commercial and real estate law.

 

Representative mandates

  • Represented a sports institute in connection with its occupancy agreement at Montreal’s Olympic Park.
  • Multiple investment projects and real estate partnerships in connection with a labour-sponsored real estate venture capital fund.
  • Expert in connection with the analysis of bidders’ proposals for a major real estate project involving a federal Crown corporation and legal consultant in charge of real estate acquisitions and dispositions at the national level.
  • Represented a purchaser in connection with the acquisition of a video game development company.
  • Represented lenders in connection with the financing of renewable energy companies.
  • Represented the vendor in connection with the sale of a hydroelectric site on the Quebec-Ontario border.
  • Represented the developer/landlord for various phases of the largest shopping centre on Montreal’s South Shore.
  • Represented the purchaser in connection with the sale of Ogilvy House in downtown Montreal.
