Profile

Roman focuses his practice on patent prosecution, patent litigation and due diligence in the electrical, mechanical and computer science disciplines.

He also has experience with post-issuance proceedings such as reexaminations, inter partes reviews and covered business method patent reviews.

Roman has drafted and prosecuted patent applications related to automotive components, medical devices, optical devices, semiconductors and circuits, as well as computer software and hardware, including mobile and web applications.

During his undergraduate studies, Roman led the work on a digital tracking system for a solar concentrator in an optimized PV cell system. He has also worked as an Information and Communication Technologies intern for an engineering consulting firm where his responsibilities included ICT infrastructure (e.g., radio antenna coverage, WLAN coverage, cable tray and outlet distribution, satellite cable distribution, etc.), plumbing and electrical system design for various project sites (e.g., airports, intelligent buildings, college campuses and museums).

Roman is admitted to practice before the US District Court for the Southern District of New York and the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
