Tasaya’s practice focuses on banking, finance and mergers and acquisitions.

Tasaya is an associate based in Bangkok office. She has more than five years of experience in local and global banks as a legal advisor involved in drafting, reviewing and advising on project financing as well as various financial instruments and products. She also practiced corporate M&A for two years at international law firms.

Relevant Experience

  • Advised a German-based leading international provider of commercial vehicles on debt restructuring.
  • Advised a Japanese automaker on its mergers and business spin-off transactions.
  • Assisted in the financing of construction, ownership, operation and maintenance of a 1,285 MW hydroelectric power plant, and associated infrastructure to be built near the Mekong River, Xayaburi Province, Lao PDR (People’s Democratic Republic).
  • Advised on the financing to CH. Karnchang (Lao) Company Limited in connection with its performance under the EPC (Engineering Procurement Construction) contract for the development of ahydroelectric power plant.
  • Assisted in the financing of 78 megawatt (MW) solar power projects to be developed through Union Eco Power Company Limited’s nine wholly owned subsidiaries.
  • Assisted in the financing of 2 x 100 MW cogeneration gas-fired power plant project to be developed by Ratchaburi World Cogeneration Company Limited.
  • Assisted in the financing of 9.33 MWp DC solar farm power plant and associated infrastructure to be developed by EA Solar Company Limited.
  • Assisted in the financing of four MW solar power projects in Ubon Ratchathani Province to be developed by ESPP Company Limited.
  • Assisted in the financing of Nam Ngiep 1 hydroelectric power project for the benefit of the consortium of The Kansai Electric Power Company, Inc and EGAT International Company Ltd.
  • Drafted, reviewed and handled all agreements and terms in relation to the “Bank Payment Obligation,” a new method of settlement in international trade.
  • Researched relevant laws and assisted in the proposed financing of various industrial projects to be developed in Dawei, Myanmar.
  • Reviewed and revised standard banking agreements and terms and conditions.
  • Researched and reviewed financing structures of aircraft financing.
  • Advised on general commercial transactions and financial instruments as well as foreign direct investments.
