Profile

Tina Hurni is a Senior Associate at Walder Wyss. She advises and represents clients on all matters concerning administrative law. She specializes in real estate and infrastructure law (construction and planning, public space, nature and heritage protection, environment) as well as procurement law.

Tina Hurni was educated at the University of Basle (lic. iur. 1990) and admitted to the bar in the Canton of Argovia in 1993. Before joining Walder Wyss, she worked as a law clerk at the District Court of Laufenburg and at the Administrative Court of the Canton of Argovia. After working for ten years in a law firm in the Canton of Argovia, she worked for a large spatial planning office in the Canton of Aargau and in the town planning department of a Bernese municipality. At the same time, she was an additional judge for eleven years, first at the Administrative Court of the Canton of Argovia, then at the (then) Court of Appeal for Immigration Law of the Canton of Argovia. At last, she was deputy head of the Legal & Procurement Division of the Basle Building and Transport Department.

Tina Hurni speaks German and English. She is registered with the Bar Registry and admitted to practice in all Switzerland.
