Han Kun advises Baidu on $1.5 billion note offering

Han Kun Law Offices advised Baidu, Inc. on its recent $1.5 billion offshore note offering. Goldman Sachs (Asia) L.L.C., J.P. Morgan Securities LLC and the Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited were the main underwriters for the offering.
Han Kun acted as PRC legal counsel to Baidu in relation to the offering. The firm provided Baidu with professional, highly effective legal services, such as reviewing the underwriting agreement and other legal documents from a PRC law perspective and issuing PRC legal opinions.
