The Legal 500 United States 2024 Edition Recognizes Three Bradley Practice Areas

June, 2024 - Birmingham, Alabama

Bradley is pleased to announce that three of the firm’s practice areas have earned inaugural rankings in the 2024 edition of The Legal 500 United States.

Bradley is recognized in the following practice areas:

  • Cannabis
  • Energy Litigation: Oil & Gas
  • Government Contracts

The firm’s Cannabis Industry team launched in 2019 and has a deep understanding of the many unique legal and business issues that are constantly evolving, and how they impact companies – including hemp companies – operating in this sector across the country. The team’s work encompasses licensing and permitting, regulatory compliance, branding and IP protection, and real estate mandates.

Bradley’s Energy Litigation team is comprised of seasoned trial lawyers with deep knowledge of the energy industry, routinely handling complex commercial litigation for upstream, midstream and downstream businesses. The team frequently represents energy clients in matters before state and federal courts, appellate courts, and in domestic and international arbitral forums around the world.

The Government Contracts Practice Group at Bradley represents contractors in all aspects of federal, state, and local contracting, focusing particularly on bid protests and claims matters. The team has represented more than 30 of the 200 largest government contractors in the country and obtained significant awards for contractors with entities including the Department of Defense, the Department of State, and Department of Veterans affairs, among others.

Now in its 17th year, the U.S. edition of The Legal 500 has continued to expand coverage of the U.S. legal market, highlighting new trends and developments, and recognizing a total of 313 firms handling high-level, nationally significant work across practice areas. Rankings are determined by evaluating a series of criteria and highlight the teams who are providing the most cutting edge and innovative advice to corporate counsel. Research across The Legal 500 series is compiled from feedback gathered in more than 300,000 client interviews, as well as law firm submissions and conversations with leading private practice lawyers.
