Buchalter Attorneys Named “Leaders of Influence – Women in Law 2024” by the Orange County Business Journal

Buchalter is pleased to announce shareholders Farah Bhatti, Roxana K. Chamouillé, Caroline Djang, Anne Marie Ellis, Peggy Hosking and Damaris Medina were named “Leaders of Influence – Women in Law 2024” by the Orange County Business Journal. This annual edition highlights the expertise and diverse talent of the Orange County Legal Community. From the board room to the courtroom, women in law are making great strides to advance their careers, practices, and profiles, breaking barriers in a traditionally male-dominated field. They hold prominent positions as attorneys, judges, and legal leaders, shaping the region’s legal landscape.
Farah Bhatti is a Shareholder and the Chair of the Firm’s Trademark Law Practice and Co-Chair of the Internet, E-Commerce and Social Media Practice. She focuses her practice on all aspects of trademark prosecution, including advising, counseling, and securing trademark protection for clients, with an emphasis on the worldwide selection and enforcement of trademarks.
Roxana K. Chamouillé handles sophisticated commercial real estate transactions on behalf of property owners, purchasers, sellers, and local, regional and nationwide institutional lenders. Her emphasis is on financing, acquisitions and dispositions.
Caroline Djang is a member of Buchalter’s Insolvency and Financial Law practice group in the Firm’s Orange County office. Ms. Djang practices in the areas of insolvency, bankruptcy, and litigation. She has vast experience representing various creditors, trustees, debtors, and committees in bankruptcy cases and adversary proceedings.
Anne Marie Ellis is the California Chair of Buchalter’s Products Liability Practice Group and the Chair of the Chemical Law and Prop. 65 Industry Group. She concentrates on product liability defense, personal injury and commercial litigation, general liability, regulatory compliance, and client counseling.
Peggy Hosking is a Shareholder in both the Firm’s Los Angeles and Orange County offices and also a member of Buchalter’s Real Estate Practice Group. Ms. Hosking serves as outside general counsel with her main focus on commercial real estate transactions.
Damaris Medina is a Shareholder in Buchalter’s Los Angeles & Orange County offices. She is Co-Chair of the Firm’s Health Care & Life Sciences Practice, a member of the Board of Directors, the Firm’s Chief Diversity Officer and a member of the Firm’s Litigation and Health Care Practice Groups.
